       Making a Difference with Compassionate Communication
Seven Session NVC Foundations Series

Seven Sessions – Wed. Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26, Mar. 5, 12, 19 from 6:30 to 8:45 pm ET

Compassionate Connection, Compassionate Action: Join us for a journey of empowerment and connection through learning and practicing the core skills of Nonviolent Communication™. Make the different you want with those who matter in your life.

We all want to matter. Our ability to be present to ourselves and others with empathy and clarity can make the difference between a breakdown and a breakthrough.  Once​ there is​ connection and understanding, so much more is possible.

Learn practical tools you can use everyday to:
– Realize the power you have for making a positive difference.
– Transform strong emotions and judgmental thinking which get in the way of acting from the heart.
– Strengthen or repair relationships. 
– Get to the heart of what is really the matter behind criticisms, resistance, and judgments.  
– Use empathy to go from disconnection and stuckness to finding ways to get what you really need.

​​Get the learning and practice you require for applying Nonviolent Communication™ in everyday life. With an emphasis on active learning, you will be challenged, moved and receive support. Participants will meet in pairs in- between sessions for practice and reflection.

Everyday Choices: Acting from the Heart

    FOUNDATION TWO
Empathic Listening for Connection

Nonviolent Communication™ excels in providing practical ways to:

  • Strengthen or repair relationships.
  • Get to the heart of what is really the matter behind criticisms, resistance, and judgments. 

​​This training is 20% presentation and 80% activities for learning and practice. We’ll use role-play and real-play (practicing with your situations) to develop your ability to listen for transformation. Join us to learn the concepts and skills for empathic listening.

  FOUNDATION THREE
Dialogue for What Matters

True dialogue is based on connecting to what matters to us and offering empathic listening for what’s important to another. Let’s explore how “connection before solution” applies to your real life examples. We’ll use the NVC Dance Floors for dialogue to support you in getting more understanding, connection, and collaboration in your relationships.

Get the learning and practice you require for applying Nonviolent Communication™ in everyday life. This training is 20% presentation and 80% activities for learning and practice.With an emphasis on active learning, you will be challenged, moved and receive support. 

Prerequisite: Foundation 1 & 2 (or equivalent in discussion with Henry)           Tuition: $145
